Ken MacCoy began his career in the insurance industry in 1976 and moved into the life insurance and financial services side of the business in 1990.
In 2000, Ken started his own business, RitePartner Financial Services, providing insurance solutions and comprehensive financial planning for individuals, families, the self-employed and business owners primarily in British Columbia and Nova Scotia. While continuing to service the needs of existing clients, Ken’s main focus is providing insurance solutions and financial planning to British Columbia residents.
Ken is both an independent broker and Managing General Agent (MGA) for Edge Benefits Inc. and helps his Edge brokers in providing disability, critical illness, final expense plus health and dental benefits to employees, self-employed individuals and business owners.
Ken is an accredited Certified Health Insurance Specialist (CHS™). A CHS is a professional financial advisor specializing in living benefits including income replacement and risk management solutions for individuals, business owners and professionals. It is the only designation in Canada denoting specialized knowledge in all areas of living benefits and is the premier credential in the health insurance industry.
The Certified Health Insurance Specialist (CHS™) was established by The Institute of Financial Planning Standards Council® (FPSC®) to raise the professional standards and practice methods of financial advisors in the health insurance sector.
